dylan brown memorial fund
After the tragic loss of their son Dylan, Jon and Cathy Brown knew they wanted to do something in the Cranberry Backcountry to memorialize their son, whose love of the area was well known. They chose to build camping shelters along the Cranberry River dedicated in his memory. With the help of many lifelong friends, donations and the cooperation of the Monongahela National Forest Service the dream became a reality. Thus far they have built several shelters, with more planned.

Workshops for learning a new trade, or craft; events that can promote socialization or develop bonds for generations, and having access to the information that can make life a little bit easier. The livelihood of our youth and senior citizens can be supported with your help.
Parks, recreation and outdoors
Help us support access to the outdoors for everyone. Allow each individual the opportunity to walk along the river, shoot a basketball, or swing on the swing set for the 1st time, or the 450th .
Economic, business and marketing development
Some businesses need technical assistance to promote their goods and services, or aid in advertising a special event to reach the greater community for support. With your help, businesses can thrive, expand, and promote their products.
General Operation and community grants
We utilize this grant for our nonprofit to boost infrastructure, strengthen fundraising efforts, and meet operational needs. Without your help we could not operate in this community to the best of our ability.
